NIGEL REILLY, CEO

I have been working in the construction industry for many years. I founded Jewel Group in July 2010.   
Jewel Group have a pioneering and proactive approach which creates a professional and effective organisation with a proven track record for greatness.
Our extensive conversion, extension, new build and refurbishment services are delivered by our highly skilled and trained teams, providing our clients with a detailed solution, tailored to each specific requirement.
We are specialists in demolition, construction, refurbishment and repairs of all listed and historical buildings, churches and ancient monuments.
We have numerous repeat clients in the public sector and are a registered main contractor for all building insurance claim works and our unique approach forms ongoing lasting relationships.

We had our home office built by these guys . It’s been amazing having that space recently. Damian and his team were very professional and efficient. From the first meeting they understood what we needed, and made some useful suggestions on changes that proved great ideas! They were very clean and tidy, kept us updated as the job was progressing. FAQs

Do I require planning permission for my Garden Room?

In most cases planning permission is not required. If you live in a listed building then you will certainly need permission but otherwise it is highly unlikely. Our team are experts with regards to permissions and can advise you accordingly.

What sizes of Garden Rooms do you offer? 

Our buildings are completely bespoke and as such we can build to any size or indeed shape to suit your requirements. There are regulations to adhere to when building over 30m2 but again our team can advise on all of this and design your building to any necessary specification.

How will my Garden Room be constructed?

At WeHomeWork we pride ourselves in our superior construction techniques. Our Garden Rooms are built to the highest specification using the same construction methods used in traditional timber frame house building. This guarantees a solid, well insulated building that will last a lifetime. 

Do I need to prepare the area in advance?

It is not necessary to prepare the area prior to our arrival, it all depends on what you would like us to do. We offer a complete service so can remove any existing buildings and do all the necessary ground works as part of the project.

What will my Garden Room feel like inside?

Due to the way in which we build our Garden Rooms, it will feel as comfortable and in many cases more comfortable than your house. Warm, quiet, relaxing and high quality. The attention to detail means that the finish is absolutely first class. 

Can I have running water in my Garden Room?

Yes you can. Usually a waste water connection will require signing off by building control which we can arrange but the ability to have water is simple. We have designed buildings with full kitchens and bathrooms all connected to the mains.

How will my Garden Room be heated?

During the site survey phase we will determine what you intend to use the building for and therefore what you will require in terms of heating. Popular options include electric radiators, underfloor heating or air conditioning. We will explore all of these options with you and present you with all the relevant options.

How secure will my Garden Room be?

All of the doors and windows we install are designed to be used in houses. They have UV protected, toughened safety glass and all doors have a five point insurance backed locking system. For peace of mind alarm systems can be installed if required.
