Facing lockdown without a remote working solution in place would have undoubtedly caused huge difficulties for our organisation and team members. As a supplier to a strong network of customers across the nation, it was important that we found a partner that could not only support us with the right technology and expertise. We also needed to get our team up and running with the new technology with minimal impact on the service of customers. The team at Atlas Cloud has given us just that.
Since introducing the cloud-based hosted desktops, our employees have been able to stay safe and productive, with added flexibility to ease the pressure of working in such difficult times. We can safely say that without this technology, our business and staff simply would not have been able to function as normal during the pandemic. It truly is one of the best decisions we have ever made, and we’re incredibly glad we crossed paths with Atlas Cloud and its DaaS solution before the pandemic.
This has been a natural move for us as we continue to be expand and the transition period has been much less challenging than anticipated thanks to the strength, experience and availability of the Atlas Cloud team. Ecus has benefited from a 20% increase in productivity as a result of moving to the Atlas Cloud.
The big difference for the Vaulkhard Group is that we now have an effective solution, efficiently managed by skilled engineers. And the help desk, well that really is a help desk. I know that I’m speaking with engineers who want to help me and who want to own an issue until it is resolved.
I know exactly what my costs are; in fact I can now confidently predict my future IT expenditure as Atlas Cloud employs a per-user, pay-as-you-go monthly subscription model. And I know, if anything happens inside our business or outside the business for that matter, our cloud solution enables us to continue working, on any device and from any location.
Recently, a contractor dug through a broadband cable in the road outside our head office. In the past, that would have meant all our staff sitting at their desks unable to work. We just sent everyone home, they logged onto the office solution from their own PCs and continued working.
Since we first began working with the Atlas Cloud team in December 2018, the team has continued to impress with the faultless and personable support it provides to our business whenever required. Teamed with the first-class expertise of its engineers, Atlas Cloud is a light and agile organisation that is able to quickly understand our needs and deploy the right consultancy and technical support in order to resolve issues and improve our systems.

Atlas were appointed due to the requirements of a customer in the banking sector to provide a robust desktop solution for fulfilling our technological security specifications as well as providing guidance and support progressing through the audit process.
We’re delighted by their service and impressed by their strong focus on security such as offering to implement Two-Factor Authentication amongst other services all within an ISO 27001 framework. Any issues that occurred were minimal and always dealt with quickly. Atlas really feels like our IT department now.
